Blade Holder Design

When creating the blade holder design I wanted to create a part that would securely hold the blades, be able to pivot and follow the contours of the human body / face. As well as be detachable from the razor itself.

When creating the blade holder I also added a range of moisturising strips. They were added as extra features and when researching some of the disposable razors, this was not a key feature / priority of the supplier. So by adding the moisturising strips to the razor, adds to the aesthetics and also saleability of the product, inviting those who may have sensitive skin to be interested in the product.

Overall I was very happy with this part, it took a while to create and I came across a few problems in regards to creating the angled section where the blades are slotted into. However through trial and error these problems where overcome and I am very happy with the final design.
