Razor Head

The razor head was designed to not only fit onto the razor body, but to allow the razor blade holder to attach onto it and pivot.

To achieve this I had to carefully think about the shape of the design, ensuring the entire product flowed without any rough edges. This was achieved by simply taking the measurement from the end of the razor handle and using this to create the first initial section of the razor head. Once this was created I could then design the rest of the part, designing and creating handles and pivot points where the razor blade holder could attach onto.

Overall I am happy with the overall shape and style of the razor head and feel it adds to the aesthetics of the product. I do however feel that the arms of this product could be designed differently as they seem rather thin and could possibly break. I would consider addressing this issue, however if this area is changed then the design of the razor blade holder would also need to be altered, resulting in changes that may address the issue, but do not seem as appealing as the current design.
